Daniel "Dan-o" David Strangstalien

Daniel “Dan-o” David Strangstalien, age 51 of Briggsville, Wisconsin passed away after a sudden heart attack and was found on Sunday, February 10, 2013 on Lake Mason in Briggsville.

A Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, February 16, 2013 from 1:00 - 4:00 P.M. at the Carl E. Grabman American Legion Post #329 in Briggsville.

Dan-o was born February 24, 1961 in Madison, Wisconsin, the son of Harlan V. and Onota “Pat” (Huotari) Strangstalien. He moved to Wisconsin Dells and attended Wisconsin Dells High School. He worked at various places but mostly construction. He owned hunting land in the Dell Prairie Township, what he called “God’s Country”, where he loved to hunt and meet with friends and family.

In his spare time, Dan-o enjoyed the outdoors and loved all hunting. He was a sportsman playing many sports but really loved golf. He also loved fishing and shared his catch with many.

Dan-o is survived by his daughters, Nicole (Jamon) Gustafson of Webster, TX, Denel and Beth Strangstalien of Waunakee; his son, Mark Dunham; a brother, Mike (Lynne) Strangstalien of Madison, WI; his sisters, Sherry (Richard) Bireitenfeldt of Savoy, IL and JoAnn Krohmer of Madison, WI; 4 grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and his special friend, Lisa Kreger.
