Cristine Lynn Rosales, 42, of Portage died Monday, December 10, 2012 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison. She was born December 5, 1969 the daughter of William and Marilyn (Stoikes) Benish. Cris graduated from LaFarge High School in 1988. She worked as an Administrator at AmericanWay Management Corporation. Cris really cared about the residents in her building. She had a special gift and love for all of her Alzheimer’s patients. Cris touched many lives through her generosity and kindness. Cris loved her family and friends but the light of her life was her little boy Alex ‘Bubby’.

Cris is survived by her son Alex Rosales, brothers and sister: Bob Benish of LaFarge, Mary Ann Parr of California, Jeff (Cindy) Benish of LaFarge, aunts and uncles: Sherry (Chuck) Rushman of Nashotah, WI, Dale Benish of LaFarge, Tony (Janell) Benish of Waunakee, Vicki (Larry) Parr of LaFarge, nephews, Bryan and Brandon Parr, cousins, Jason (Shannon) Parr, Chad (Danette) Parr, Lyndsey Benish, Nathan Benish, Jaelyn Moraga, Gavin and Lilly Parr, special friend Steve Krahn of Portage, many other relatives, and friends.

Cris was preceded in death by her parents Bill and Marilyn Benish and grandparents.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday,, December 13, 2012 at 2:00 PM at the LaFarge United Methodist Church. Burial will follow at the Bear Creek Cemetery. Friends may call at the LaFarge United Methodist Church on Thursday, December 13, 2012 from 11:00 AM until the time of the service at 2:00 PM. The Seland Huston Funeral Home is assisting the family with their arrangements. Online condolences can be made at prattfuneralservice.com.
