MADISON-Carl George Anderson of Madison passed away on Thursday, Dec. 20, 2012, due to complications of Parkinson’s disease. He was born on May 20, 1935, in Madison, the son of John and Doris (Evans) Anderson. Carl married Carole Lins on Oct. 31, 1959. He was an art teacher beginning in 1958 in Illinois. Carl taught art in Madison from 1966 until 2005. He was also a member of SAR.

Carl is survived by his wife, Carole; daughter, Sherilyn Anderson; son, Mark Anderson (LisaAnne Baumgartner); grandson, Dr. Andrew (Najia) Wentland; great-grandson, Zaafir Wentland; sister, Carol (Robert) Halliday; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Private family services will be held. Memorials may be directed to St. Dennis Catholic Church.
