Barbara Jean Mindak

Madison-Barbara J. Mindak, age 74, passed away on Thursday, January 17, 2013. She was born September 15, 1938 in Madison, Wisconsin. Barbara worked for over 50 years for the Department of Transportation, State of Wisconsin, where she was still actively working up until her death. She had a love of animals especially her dog Shimmy. She also enjoyed knitting and reading books.

Barbara is survived by her children Kim (Val) Mindak of Tomahawk, WI, and Michele (Tim) Merrill of Beaver Dam, WI; and her two grandchildren Shane and Austin Mindak.

She was preceded in death by her husband Armand, and her mother Viola.

Private Services for the family will be held at a later date.

    Admission is $7 and Zoo Lights will run Thursdays through Sundays beginning at 5:30 p.m.
