William D. Mohwinkel, age 72, passed away at home on Sunday, August 25, 2013.

He was born in Mazomanie on February 7, 1941. William served in the U.S. Navy. He was formerly employed at Badger Ammunition and A.O. Smith in Milwaukee.

Survivors ihclude three children, Carla Mitchell of Baraboo, Scott Mohwinkel of Waunakee and Lisa (Billie Mills) Mohwinkel of Mazomanie; a sister, Janice Baars of Milwaukee and five grandchildren, Craig, Victoria, Mike, Amber and Shannah.

Funeral services will be held at HOOVERSON FUNERAL HOME, 702 Emily Rd., Mazomanie, at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, August 30, 2013. Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service on Friday. Burial, with military graveside rites will follow in the Mazomanie Cemetery.
