DeForest – Theresa Marie (Showers) Morgan, age 78, passed away in her home on Saturday, September 28, 2013.

Theresa was probably best known for her love of food. Cooking it, eating it, and her favorite thing, sharing it with family, friends and neighbors and her generous service to all.

Theresa is survived by her children, Richard (Tracy), Susan (Rudy), Joe (Paula), Eddie (Lisa), and special daughter, Vicki (Duane). She has ten grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and seven siblings; Albert (Kim) Haack, Howard (Dee) Haack, Donna Broge, Anna (Ron) Brewer, Arlene (Randy) Phillips, Dennis (Prisciila) Haack, Frank (Donnell) Haack. Also surviving are brother-in-law Jerry (Nancy) and sister-in-law Lucille (Richard) and many good, good friends.

She was preceded in death by her sons, Danny and Greg; parents, Arnold and Theresa; brothers, Elmer and Richard; and sisters, Sharon (Claude) Hysell and Nancy (Jerry) Pfeil.

A celebration of her life will be held on Thursday, October 3, at the VFW, 301 Cottage Grove Rd., Madison from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. with a brief service by Reverend Grimshaw. Please come and attend this celebration of life for a woman who has touched many and will be missed by all.

Her favorite scripture verse, 1 Corinthians 13:13. And now abides faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.
