Lucy Lucille Offerdahl

Lucy Offerdahl, age 97 of Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin went to her eternal rest Saturday, September 28, 2013 at the Golden Living Center in Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin surrounded by her son and daughter in law and the wonderful caregivers from Golden Living Center.

Memorial funeral services will be held Thursday, October 3, 2013 at 5:00 P.M. at the Picha Funeral Home in Wisconsin Dells with Reverend Dennis Schueler officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 3 p.m until the time of service at 5 p.m.

Lucy was born April 30, 1916 in Poynette, Wisconsin the daughter of Frederick and Barbara (Bloomer) Starks. She had worked for 17 years at Ray O Vac and for 33 years at Oscar Mayer in Madison, Wisconsin until her retirement in 1980. She enjoyed playing bingo, solving crossword puzzles, reading and traveling and visiting and socializing with family and friends.

Lucy is survived by her son, Frederick (Barbara) Baird of Baraboo, Wisconsin; sisters, Loretta Fuller of Lodi, Wisconsin and Rosie Downing of McFarland, Wisconsin; 4 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren and nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Raymond Baird and Obie Offerdahl; a brother, Marvin Starks and sisters, Nettie Herrick and Florence Morowski.
