A KFC restaurant in Michigan is home one of the franchise's longest-serving employees.

Mary Lou Ausborne has been serving up chicken with a smile for 52 years at the restaurant in Southfield outside of Detroit.

She told ABC News she's even met KFC founder Colonel Sanders, describing him as a "wonderful man."

Ausborne's daughter has worked at the same fast food restaurant for 34 years.

"I like being here," she said. "I like the people. I like the customers and it’s a very good job."

And even at age 80, Ausborne said she has no plans to retire anytime soon.
