TOWN OF EASTON, Wis. -

Authorities used DNA information to identify one of the two men killed in a fire in the town of Easton in October.

The Adams County Sheriff's Department said Thursday that James Eugene Boone, 55, of the town of Easton was recently identified as a second victim in the Oct. 28 fire that also killed 79-year-old Ronald G. Peak.

Deputies said Peak was living at the home on the 1400 block of Evergreen Court with his wife, Joanne Peak, 77. Joanne Peak survived the fire.

Boone was living in a camper on the property next to the home.

Authorities had previously said foul play was not suspected in the fire.
