Police say a family was shocked to discover a loaded marijuana pipe inside a Burger King Kids Meal instead of the traditional toy that typically comes with the meal.

The family was in Dundee, Mich., visiting a water park when the grandfather of a 4-year-old boy stopped by the local Burger King to pick up food for his grandson, reports The Associated Press. The family discovered the pipe before the boy got to it and contacted police immediately.

According to police, a 23-year-old employee put the pipe in the box in order to hide it while he worked and didn't mean for it to come into contact with the child. The employee has been charged with possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia.

Two of the man’s friends found sitting in their parked car outside the Burger King and have also been charged with drug possession.
