So please consider attending the Waisman Center's spring benefit concert, and in the process join us in beings friends of the Waisman Center.

We consider ourselves friends of the Waisman Center, the amazing center on the UW Campus “dedicated to the advancement of knowledge about human development, developmental disabilities and neurodegenerative diseases."

The work being done there is transformative and life enhancing. But there is also a formal Friends of the Waisman Center, a nonprofit group that exists to support this terribly important resource, and once a year, for 19 years now, they host a benefit concert and reception.

And as long as they keep doing it, we’ll keep supporting it.

It’s this Friday night at the Friends of the Waisman Center Auditorium. If you go you’ll enjoy not only a concert by Black Marigold and a catered reception with the artists, but you’ll be helping support the annual “Waisman Center Day with the Experts,” special services to individuals with developmental disabilities and their families, and the John D. Wiley Seminar Series, activities that would not exist without the support of Friends.

So please consider attending, and in the process join us in being friends of the Waisman Center.
