DODGEVILLE, Wis. -

Dodgeville police are looking for a man who has been missing from his home since June 26.

Officials said it is unclear why Michael R. Upman, 41, of Dodgeville, left his home when he was caring for his three children.

Upman has not made contact with his family and does not have a cellphone so officials are unable to locate him through his phone, according to the release.

Upman is described as a white male 6 feet tall weighing 165 pounds with brown hair and eyes, according to the release.

Upman may be traveling in a 2000 black Chevrolet Suburban with Wisconsin license plate 378NGL, police said.

Officials ask anyone with information about Upman’s whereabouts to call Dodgeville police at 608-935-3238 or the Iowa County Sheriff’s Department at 608-935-3314.
