An angry mother who found T-shirts on display in a mall "indecent" decided to buy every single one.

The Daily Herald of Provo reports that Judy Cox and her 18-year-old son were shopping in a Mall in Orem, Utah, when they spotted a display in a PacSun store window which featured T-shirts that had scantily dressed models in provocative poses on them. Cox approached the manager to complain, but was told that the display could not be taken down. So she did the next best thing to prevent the youth of Orem from being subjected to what she felt were inappropriate images: She bought all 19 T-shirts in stock, for a total of $567.

Orem is a conservative town of about 90,000 that uses the motto "Family City USA." Most residents belong to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, which does not accept sexually explicit images on clothing and encourages its youth to dress and act modestly.

Cox told the Herald that instead of destroying the T-shirts, she plans to "let their corporate office figure out what to do with them when I return them on day 59 of a 60-day return policy."

Cox said she plans to meet with Orem's city attorney to discuss whether the images on the T-shirts violate city code. City code in Orem prohibits anyone from putting "explicit sexual material" on public display.
