A man called 911 twice because his neighbors refused to drink with him on his birthday.

James Collins, 56, recently called the Fort Pierce, Fla. police department to report that it was his birthday and his neighbors were being "mean" and refused to help him celebrate, according to TCPalm.com.

Officers responded to the call, advised Collins that he was misusing 911 and then left. Collins called again 30 minutes later with the same complaint. This time, the officers noticed that he smelled heavily of alcohol and appeared intoxicated. Collins was arrested for disorderly intoxication and misuse of 911, UPI.com reported.
