TOWN OF WESTPORT, Wis. -

A 19-year-old Deforest woman was seriously injured in a single-vehicle crash in the town of Westport just before 6 a.m. Thursday.

Deputies said McKenzie L. Endres was traveling west on County Road M when she lost control while negotiating a curve.

Endres was taken to University of Wisconsin Hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Deputies said speed and an icy patch on the road were contributing factors in the crash.
