Child on bike struck by hit-and-run driver

MADISON, Wis. -

A Madison boy was taken to a hospital Sunday night after being struck by a car while he was riding his bike.

Madison police said the boy is believed to be 7-years-old and was struck when he pedaled out of a driveway and into the 1500 block of Trailsway.

The boy’s injuries appear to be non-life-threatening.

The car that struck the boy is described as a white Nissan.

Anyone with information is asked to call Madison Area Crime Stoppers at 608-266-6014.
