In Green Bay, winter-like weather created power problems after a snowfall Wednesday morning.

MADISON, Wis. -

About 15,000 customers are still without power in Wisconsin after a storm carrying snow, rain and ice downed lines and toppled trees.

That's according to figures posted online by We Energies and Wisconsin Public Service. The number is down from about 30,000 earlier Wednesday.

Wisconsin Emergency Management spokesman Tod Pritchard said most residents should have power by Wednesday night, but some won't have service restored until Thursday.

The National Weather Service reports minor flooding across Wisconsin, and it has issued flash flood watches for Madison, La Crosse and Beaver Dam. There are flood warnings for Janesville, Kenosha, Milwaukee and Sheboygan as more rain is expected over the next day.
