Victim in fatal weekend fire was Oshkosh woman

OSHKOSH, Wis. -

The victim of a fatal house fire in Oshkosh over the weekend has been identified as a 56-year-old woman.

According to an Oshkosh Northwestern reported the Winnebago County coroner's office determined that Randi I. Shaw died of smoke inhalation.

Oshkosh firefighters were called to Shaw's home Saturday about 4:15 a.m. They found heavy smoke and flames coming from the second floor, where her body was later found. A dog was also found dead.

Police said the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
