Sandwich shop robbed at gunpoint in Middleton

MIDDLETON, Wis. -

No one was injured following an armed robbery at a sandwich shop on Middleton's east side Thursday, according to Middleton police.

Police said the Subway in the 2500 block of Allen Boulevard was robbed at gunpoint about 9 p.m. Thursday.

Police said a man entered the store armed with a black handgun and demanded money from the cash register. He left on foot with an undisclosed amount of money, according to police.

Police said the suspect is a white man with blue eyes, last seen wearing a dark-colored hooded jacket, blue jeans, a black winter mask and white tennis shoes. He was last seen running south from the store and may have been in the parking lot of the Harbor Athletic Club before or after the robbery.
