Man, wife charged with DUI on same night

A husband and wife in Rhode Island are charged with driving drunk after being stopped separately in the same night.

Stephanie Souza, 43, of Warwick was arrested at about 9:25 p.m. Friday on Interstate 95 in Cranston, Providence TV station WPRI reported.

Her husband, 44-year-old Michael Souza, was arrested on DUI charges less than two hours later.

He was coming to pick his wife up from jail, according to The Associated Press.

Both were arraigned and later released to a family member.
