A woman in Colorado was pushed over the edge by her boyfriend's incessant singing of the hit song "Thrift Shop" by Macklemore and Ryan Lewis.

According to a police report obtained by The Smoking Gun, 23-year-old Samantha Malson pushed and choked her boyfriend, Lars Hansen, after he belted out the hip-hop tune 25 times in a row and refused to stop.

The couple was very intoxicated and had been arguing all night after Hansen accused Malson of consuming all the alcohol in the house, The Smoking Gun reported.

Malson admitted to the crime after police showed up, officers told the Longmont Daily Times-Call.

She now faces charges of assault, harassment and domestic violence, according to a Boulder County Sheriff's Office report.
