Bar robbed by man with gun, wearing mask

AFTON, Wis. -

A bar in Afton was robbed Wednesday by a man carrying a gun and wearing a ski mask, according to the Rock County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies were called to Friendly Village Tavern at 5321 Jefferson St. at 10:35 p.m. for a report of an armed robbery.

Investigators said a man dressed in all dark clothing and wearing a hockey mask displayed a gun and demanded the bartender give him money from the cash register. The bartender complied and the suspect left on foot.
