Harlem Shake 99-year-old man

A 99-year-old Alabama man shows you're never too old to do the Harlem Shake.

Bill Taube told Mobile TV station WALA he didn't quite know what he was doing when he sprang up during a bingo game at the Westminster Village retirement community in Spanish Fort, but he had a lot of fun.

"It was great. I didn't know what to expect when they told me to hop up. That surprised me," he said.

The retirement home got the idea to join the Internet dance craze from one resident's grandson.

They plan to shoot a video for the community's upcoming 30th anniversary, but wanted to get a little practice in before then -- Harlem Shake style.

"He's an inspiration to everybody, so who else could we feature?" Patti Skeele, the community's bingo host, told WALA of Taube.

Taube has lived in Baldwin County since 1916. A former teacher and assistant principal, he now spends his days exercising, painting portraits and playing the piano.

Obviously, he loves to dance, and staff members told WALA he's always the first one to bring a lady onto the floor.
