Parents are seeking answers after a package containing condoms was mailed to their 8-year-old daughter.

The Angelides family of Staten Island, N.Y. says they received a package from Amazon addressed to their daughter Gianna. When they opened the package, there were two boxes of condoms inside, reports CBS New York.

When questioned about the package, Amazon told the family that it was not a mistake and that it was mailed to the correct address, but because of customer privacy, the company couldn't say who sent it.

The Angelides may pursue the matter further with the NYPD to get to the bottom of who sent the package.

"I’m very concerned if someone is watching her," Gianna's mother, Christine, told CBS New York.
