Two people were sentenced for the January 2013 home invasion and robbery in the town of Fulton, according to a release.

Jesse D. Adams, 23, was sentenced on Tuesday to 33 years in prison and 23 years of extended supervision for armed robbery, felony theft of firearms and being a felon in possession of a firearm, officials said. These sentences will be served consecutively to a sentence in Walworth County.

Kayla L. Pearson, 22, was sentenced on Tuesday to 18 years in prison and 13 years of extended supervision for armed robbery as a party to the crime, felony theft of firearms as a party to the crime and false imprisonment as a party to the crime.

Adams and Pearson pleaded guilty to the charges.

According to a criminal complaint, Adams and Christopher Kimps entered a home while masked and armed, bound the victims with duct tape, forced a man to open a gun vault and stole numerous firearms as well as jewelry and money from the home.

Adams and Kimps also loaded the items into the victims’ pickup truck and used the truck to transport the stolen property from the home, according to the complaint. Pearson previously stayed at the victims’ home and assisted in planning the home invasion and robbery by telling Adams and Kimps the location of the home and about the items that were stolen.

According to the complaint, Pearson was also present when Adams and Kimps were dropped off at the victims’ home and when they fled with the stolen property.

Adams, Pearson, Kimps and a fourth person, Sara Buckingham, were apprehended on Jan. 14, 2013 after a vehicle chase with officers in the Wisconsin Dells area.
