TOWN OF CLINTON, Wis. -

A woman was killed after a single-vehicle rollover crash on South Summerville Road Wednesday afternoon around 1:50, according to a release.

The Rock County Sheriff’s Department responded to a report of a rollover crash on South Summerville Road near the overpass for Interstate 43 in the town of Clinton, according to the release.

The investigation indicated a 2006 Kia Optima, driven by Sokhon Pek, 46, of Janesville, was traveling southbound on South Summerville Road south of the Interstate 43 overpass when she lost control of the vehicle, according to the release.

Officials said the vehicle crossed the road, entered the ditch, rolled over multiple times, and came to a rest on its roof.

Pek and the front-seat passenger, Pea Pek, 38, of Janesville, were both wearing a seat belt and were transported to Mercy Hospital and Trauma Center with non-life-threatening injuries, according to the release.

A backseat passenger, Loeun Oeun, 45, of Janesville, was not wearing a seat belt and was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the release.

Officials said South Summerville Road was closed for nearly 3 and a half hours during the investigation.
