Mueller wins Big Ten weekly honor

 Wisconsin Badger third baseman Michelle Mueller has been named the Big Ten softball Player of the Week for the second time this season.

Mueller hit .714 for the week as the Badgers swept Purdue extending Wisconsin's winning streak to 13 games.

Mueller (La Crosse, WI) has 11 homers and 49 runs batted in this season. During the 13-game winning streak, Mueller is hitting .432 with 7 HR and 26 RBI.

Wisconsin hosts 19th ranked Nebraska in a doubleheader Wednesday at Goodman Diamond beginning at 3 pm.
