Minn. kidnapping suspect arrested near Lake Delton

LAKE DELTON, Wis. -

Authorities arrested a man who allegedly abducted his 2-year-old son from a home in Minnesota early Sunday morning near Lake Delton Sunday afternoon.

Marque Montez Charleston, 33, is the non-custodial father of the 2-year-old, Marque Montez Charleston, Jr., according to a report from WCCO CBS in Minn.

Authorities said Marque Montez Charleston was taken into custody around 2 p.m. Sunday and is currently in the Sauk County Jail.

Marque Montez Charleston allegedly broke into the St. Louis Park, Minn., home around 1 a.m., police said. The 2-year-old was taken after his father forced his way into the back door.

His mother, Kyesha Lewis, was assaulted in the incident, officials said. Marque Montez Charleston was also believed to be intoxicated.

Lewis is on her to way to be reunited with her son.
