Middleton boys basketball defeats DeForest

DEFOREST, Wis. -

Derek Rongstad scored 17 points to lead Middleton to a 58-44 non-conference win at DeForest Tuesday night.

Max Oelerich added nine points and Luke Shafer had eight for the Cardinals who improved their season record to 3-3 overall.

DeForest led after one quarter 11-10, Middleton outscored the Norskies 13-4 in the second quarter and 21-9 in the third.

The Norskies were led by Jeff Berry's 13 points and also evened their record at 3-3.
