Badgers senior Michael Mersch ended his collegiate hockey career Friday in the NCAA Tournament. Tuesday, Mersch signed a three-year entry level contract with the Los Angeles Kings.

Mersch was the leading goal scorer of the Mike Eaves era. He scored 67 goals in 157 games. Mersch also proved to be very durable. He skated in all 157 games of his four-year career at UW. In his senior season, he led the Big Ten with 22 goals.

Mersch was selected 110th overall by the Kings in the 2011 entry draft.
