McNett-Emmerich wins Women's All City Golf Tournament

MADISON, Wis. -

Former Madison West standout Brittany McNett-Emmerich wins the 2013 Women's All City Golf Tournament Wednesday with a three-day total of 223.

She carded a three over par in Wednesday's final round at Cherokee Country Club.

She had a birdie on the 14th hole and tied with McKenzie Parks for the day's best round (+3). Parks finished seven shots back with a three day total of 230.

"Winning any tournament is great, especially when you're in high school," McNett-Emmerich said. "Then once you graduate from high school and you win something like this, it feels great."

Mary Welch took third, Michelle Madden placed fourth and Pat Roisum rounded out the top five.

Mother Nature did not do any favors for the 2013 Women's All City Golf Tournament. The three-day tournament held on some of the hottest days of the summer.
