Mary E. Fountain

Sun Prairie/Madison - Mary E. Fountain (formerly Skalitzky) age 58, passed away unexpectedly at her home in Prairie du Sac.

She was born on December 18, 1954 in Madison, the daughter of Dale and Jeanne (Storke) Putnam. Among the things that Mary enjoyed most in life were crafts, particularly knitting, chatting with friends, and spending time with her beloved dog Sheba. Mary will be missed for her wonderful sense of humor.

Mary is survived by her sons, Jeremy (Sarah) and Ryan Skalitzky; her mother, Jeanne; her siblings, Patricia (Larry) Blaschka, Rob (Lori), Leanne (Steve) Crouch, and Karla; nephews and nieces; other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband Aaron Fountain, her brother Bruce, and her father Dale.

A memorial service will be held at CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 3325 E. Washington Avenue, on Wednesday, November 27, 2013, at 3:00 p.m. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2:00 p.m. until time of service.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to Special Olympics-Wisconsin, 2310 Crossroads Drive, Suite 1000, Madison, WI 53718.
