Man who allegedly sexually assaulted woman still at large, police say

MADISON, Wis. -

A man who allegedly sexually assaulted a woman in her home on Madison’s west side Tuesday night is still at large, Madison police said.

The woman told police the man entered her home in the area of McKee Road and Stonecreek Drive through an unlocked door around 1:30 p.m., according to a release.

After the attack the man left the residence in an unknown direction, police said.

Police did not release a detailed description of the man, but they did say he was wearing a white hooded sweatshirt.

Officials ask anyone with information about the incident or anyone who saw suspicious activity in the area to call the Madison Police Department nonemergency line at 608-266-4948 or the Madison Area Crime Stoppers at 608-266-6014.
