MADISON, Wis. -

Brian Stowe pleaded guilty in federal court Thursday to charges of taking sexually explicit pictures of a 17-year-old girl while she was asleep.

Stowe, 28, faces a minimum of 15 years and a maximum of 30 years in federal prison, according to the plea deal. He will also be put on supervised release for life after his prison sentence.

A criminal complaint says Stowe assaulted and photographed numerous women while they were passed out inside his Madison apartment, including the 17-year-old girl.

A sentencing hearing is scheduled for Jan. 6.

Stowe also faces 62 charges in Dane County. They include 33 counts of second-degree sexual assault, 27 counts of taking nude pictures without consent and two counts of possessing a recording of nudity without consent.

He is scheduled for a plea hearing in Dane County Circuit Court on Nov. 13.
