Man caught taking ‘upskirt’ photos at grocery store, police say

MADISON, Wis. -

A Madison man is accused of taking upskirt photos of a woman in a grocery store with his cellphone.

The 24-year-old victim told police she whacked the man in the head with a food box after she caught him taking a picture while she shopped at Woodman’s Markets on Milwaukee Street on Friday night.

The man fled, but police used surveillance video to identify the man. Police said the video showed the man taking two photos of the victim.

Police said the man has been a suspect in past cases.

Ryan Y. Przedwiecki, 38, was arrested at his home on Saturday on suspicion of taking representations depicting nudity without knowledge or consent. He denied involvement in the incident at Woodman’s.
