Man accused of stabbing girlfriend 29 times pleads guilty

MADISON, Wis. -

A Madison man accused of stabbing his girlfriend Semilla Anderson 29 times pleaded guilty, Friday in court.

Eric Prunn, 40, is being charged with first-degree attempted intentional homicide after being arrested in September at an east side home.

Police said Prunn stabbed his girlfriend inside a home on Brigham Avenue.

Police said they found a woman in her early 30s with multiple stab wounds to her upper body inside the residence. Anderson was Prunn's live-in girlfriend at the time of the attack.

The judge has ordered a pre-sentencing investigation.

A sentencing date has not been set.
