Madison College to hold planning forums
Over the last several months, Madison College has been working on a strategic plan that will guide us over the next few years; reflecting trends in employment and educational and community needs. Much of the work to date has been informed by the input from business, industry and community leaders with whom I visited last fall and surveys and focus groups conducted by the college.
The first phase of this effort has been completed and I invite you to learn where we are in the process through a series of forums that will be held throughout our district. You will hear about our strategic areas of focus, especially as they relate to responsiveness to workforce, academic and student service needs. There are key strategic directives that I’m sure you will find interesting.
The purpose of the forum is to gather input from the community, businesses, education partners and others regarding how to advance our strategic directives. This input will be used to craft a final, yet to-be-determined plan that will meet the needs of our varied communities.
