MADISON, Wis. -

In Tuesday's Prep Mania Game of the Week, Lodi baseball narrowly beat Wisconsin Heights 2-1.

The game was highlighted by pitching. Lodi's Fred Manke pitched four scoreless innings, played 2 2/3 innings at catcher, then went back to pitching to record the final out of the game.

Lodi's only runs of the game came from a throwing error. In the second inning, Lodi's Chance Browning hit a grounder to shortstop, whose throw to first base was off the mark. Two Blue Devils scored to make it 2-0.

In the seventh inning, Heights was able to load the bases and score one run to make it 2-1 before Manke recorded the final out for the Blue Devils.
