Rain showers will change to light snow and flurries tonight as an area of low pressure slides just to our south. Up to 1-2" of snow may accumulate, especially southeast of Madison. Overnight lows will fall into the upper teens and winds will increase from the north/northeast. Scattered flurries will gradually end on Wednesday. Temperatures will hold nearly steady around 20 degrees on Wednesday and winds will remain gusty, especially in the morning.
A warm front passing through the Midwest will bring a few flurries to southern Wisconsin late Wednesday night and early Thursday. The rest of Thursday and Friday will be partly sunny and turning milder. Highs will reach the upper 30s on Thursday and the middle 40s on Friday.
The weekend looks cooler with partly sunny skies and highs in the lower to middle 30s. Monday will be partly sunny and milder, with highs reaching the upper 30s. Rain showers are possible Tuesday with highs around 40 degrees.
