Joshua N. Bader 28, of Mauston left us too soon on August 25, 2013 at his home as a result of an accident.

Josh was born in Lacrosse on November 17, 1984 to Cathy Clement Bader and Dale Bader. He grew up in Mauston and attended Mauston High School. He was currently employed by Stroh's in Mauston as a machine operator.

Josh was an avid hunter and fisherman. He spent much of his time in the woods with his hunting partners, his Dad, his grandfathers, his cousins, and his close friends. He also loved ice fishing and taking his friends and family fishing during the summer on the boat.

Everyone who met Josh came to know a young man with an infectious smile, a laid back disposition, and a warm heart. He was always ready to help anyone whether it was a friend or a complete stranger.

Josh is survived by his mother Cathy and her partner, Don Holderfield and his children Jacob and Lizzy, his father Dale and his partner, Pat Bast and her son Michael Seeley, his paternal grandmother Helen Bader of Camp Douglas, his maternal grandmother Eileen Clement of Elroy, God parents Rick and Pam Clement of Texas, Aunt Linda Fitch and her husband Willie Travis, Aunt Linda Aiello and her husband Sam of New Lisbon. Josh is also survived by his nieces Travis, Erica, and Stevenson Travis, and a long list of friends.

Joshua was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather John W. Clement, paternal grandfather Azel N. Bader, infant sister Dale Lynn Bader, and Cousin Twlaleah Ashlee Fitch.

Friends and family may call at Crandall Funeral Home in Mauston on August 31, 2013 for visitation starting at 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. followed by a service with Rev. Fairchild officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Mauston.
