Hildred M. Tramburg

FALL RIVER--Hildred M. Tramburg (nee Hendricks) age 87 of Fall River, passed away at home on Sunday, May 26, 2013 surrounded by family.

Hildred was born on March 12, 1926 in Crofton Nebraska, the daughter of the late Henry and Martha (Filips) Hendricks. She graduated from Columbus High School in 1944. Hildred and John H. Tramburg were united in marriage on September 17, 1949 at St. Jerome Catholic Church, Columbus WI. In 1939 Hildred moved with her family from Nebraska settling in Astico, WI. Hildred loved dancing at the Columbus fireman’s Park Pavilion where she met her husband John in 1948. She kept the home fires burning while her husband John was stationed at Fort Carson Colorado during the Korean War. She also worked at Borden Company in Columbus, Columbus Water and Light, Fall River Foundry, and enjoyed many years of working as a dental assistant for Dr. Frey in Columbus.

Hildred was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and is survived by her husband John of 63 years; four children, Jolene Tramburg (Dr. J. C. Montgomery) of Stevens Point, John (Karla) Tramburg of Hubertus, Lana (Tom) Platz of Columbus, and Bryan (Karen) Tramburg of Fall River; 12 Grandchildren: Jennifer Schellin, Natalie (Tory) Wiedmeyer, John (Meghan) Tramburg, Danika Tramburg, Judson Platz, Danielle (Seth) Nelson, Wyatt Tramburg, Dawn Tramburg, Maxwell Tramburg, Kelly Tramburg, Morgan Tramburg, and Rebecca Tramburg; three great grandchildren, Parker, Mason, and Landon; two sisters Hyacinth Lange of Columbus and Janice Erieau of Columbus OH; two sisters-in-law, Donna Hendricks of Columbus and Joyce Hendricks of Hustisford; many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; five brothers, Sylvester “Bud”, Harvey, Dale, Cecil, and infant, Howard; two sisters Donna May Schultz, and Harriette Woodward; as well as brothers-in-law, Lelon Lange, Ralph Woodward, Art Schultz, Gene Erieau; two sisters-in-law, Carol Hendricks and Dorothy Hendricks.

A memorial visitation will be held from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, May 30, 2013 at the Jensen funeral home. A private family inurnment will be at Fall River Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions will be donated to the Fall River School Scholarship fund or Hillside Hospice.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Dr. Rolf Poser, Louise Camp, and Hillside Homecare and Hospice.
