PAHRUMP, Nev. (KVVU) -

Former Hollywood madam Heidi Fleiss was arrested early Tuesday on DUI charges and a host of other violations.

Detectives spotted Fleiss' 2010 Toyota Cruiser on State Route 160 in Pahrump at about 3:30 a.m., the Nye County Sheriff's Office said.

A records check showed the vehicle registration was suspended and that Fleiss did not have a driver's license.

When detectives pulled the 47-year-old Fleiss over, they discovered four ounces of marijuana in the vehicle and said Fleiss appeared to be under the influence of marijuana.

Fleiss failed a field sobriety test, according to police.

Detectives also discovered a large amount of cash in the vehicle, which they seized as part of the investigation.

Fleiss has been charged with DUI, possession of marijuana with intent to sell, driving without a license, driving with suspended registration and driving with no insurance.

She was booked into the Nye County Sheriff's Office Detention Center pending bail.

In August, Fleiss was found with nearly 400 marijuana plants in her Pahrump home.
