We've all been there: you're running late and your stomach is growling. So even though you know hitting the nearest drive-through isn't the best option for your waistline, you're hungry enough to live with the consequences.

But when making a dash for the nearest fast-food restaurant, which items on the menu should you avoid ordering?

Take a look at some of the unhealthiest items available at some popular fast-food chains.

McDonald's McDonald's Angus Bacon and Cheese burger contains 790 calories, 17 grams of saturated fat and 63 grams of carbohydrates, according to McDonald's nutrition guide.

Burger King According to its nutrition menu, Burger King's Triple Whopper contains 1,160 calories, 27 grams of saturated fat and 51 carbohydrates.

Wendy's Wendy's Baconator Triple weighs in at 1,330 calories, 38 grams of saturated fat and 47 grams of carbohydrates, according to the fast-food restaurant's nutrition guide.

Arby's The item with the most calories on Arby's menu is the Ultimate BLT Sandwich, with 880, along with 10 grams of saturated fat and 84 grams of carbohydrates, according to Arby's nutrition guide.

Jack In The Box The Sirloin Cheeseburger is one of Jack In The Box's most unhealthy items. According to the fast-food chain's nutrition guide, the Sirloin Cheeseburger contains 1,010 calories, 20 grams of saturated fat and 62 grams of carbohydrates.

Taco Bell One of Taco Bell's highest-caloric items is its Volcano Nachos, which contain 1,000 calories, 9 grams of saturated fat and 89 grams of carbohydrates, according to Taco Bell's nutrition guide.

KFC While Kentucky Fried Chicken is known for its chicken, it's the fast-food chain's Famous Bowls-Mashed Potato with Gravy that soars it calories. According to KFC's nutrition guide, the bowl contains 700 calories, 8 grams of saturated fat and 77 grams of carbohydrates.
