Hawks guard Jeff Teague will continue to wear an Atlanta uniform, despite being vocal in his desire to play elsewhere.

On Saturday, the Hawks matched a four-year, $32 million offer sheet that the 25-year-old guard signed from the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Teague averaged 14.6 points, 7.2 assists, 2.3 rebounds and 1.5 steals, while shooting 45.1 percent from the field and 35.9 percent from deep last season.

Teague, who was a restricted free agent, had become frustrated with the lack of communication with the Hawks' management and recently told general manager Danny Ferry of his desire to continue his career elsewhere.

But Ferry and the Hawks had a different idea about where Teague would be playing next season.

"We are happy to bring Jeff back to our team," Ferry said in a statement on Saturday. "He has improved each year of his career and continues to get better. At 25, he's already been a key contributor on a playoff team and we look forward to seeing him develop into even more of a leader on our team."
