Gordon named Offensive Co-Player of the Week

Wisconsin Badger running back Melvin Gordon is the Big Ten's Offensive Co-Player of the Week after rushing for 147 yards and three touchdowns in Wisconsin's 41-10 win against Purdue Saturday.

Gordon shares the award with Ohio State quarterback Kenny Guiton.

Wisconsin plays at fourth-ranked Ohio State Saturday night at 7 pm, Madison time.

Gordon has rushed for over 140 yards in each of Wisconsin's first four games.

He leads the nation with 642 rushing yards, despite getting just over 13 carries a game. Gordon is averaging 11.8 yards per attempt.

Gordon has scored seven touchdowns this season which is third best in the country.
