MADISON, Wis. -

Police say all explosives have been removed from a Germantown home where a 33-year-old man was arrested earlier.

Police Chief Peter Hoell told WTMJ-TV the explosives will be detonated elsewhere. The Milwaukee bomb squad worked to remove the explosives Wednesday. Authorities did not say how much or what type of explosives were removed.

Neighbors were temporarily evacuated Tuesday after police received a tip about the explosives.

Wisconsin National Guard Lt. Joe Trovato said 21 members of the guard's Civil Support Team provided on-scene analysis of an unknown substance found in the house. He said those test results were forwarded to the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
