Evelyn Nell Sarafin

Evelyn Sarafin, age 76 of Lake Delton, Wisconsin departed on Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at St. Clare Hospital in Baraboo, Wisconsin.

Graveside funeral service will be held on Monday, June 17, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at Spring Grove Cemetery in Wisconsin Dells with Father Michael Richel celebrating. Visitation will be held at the Picha Funeral Home in Wisconsin Dells on Monday from 10:00-11:00 A.M.

Evelyn was born on October 17, 1936 in Horton, Alabama the daughter of John and Maude (White) Leath.

Our mother was a kind soul who fulfilled her dream of becoming a Registered Nurse in Arkansas where she met husband Harold. She raised her family in Wisconsin. They were proprietors of a motel in Wisconsin Dells. She was a woman of many talents. Her passions included hunting, gardening, and an appreciation for wildlife. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She had a beautiful way of bringing people together.

Evelyn is survived by her daughters, Donna and Karen; sons, Philip and Roger (Velma); grandchildren, Michael and David and siblings, George and Mildred. She is preceded in death by husband, Harold and 12 brothers and sisters.
