Published On: Feb 27 2014 09:50:32 AM CST

MADISON -

Wisconsin Basketball redshirt junior Evan Anderson announced Thursday he won't return to the program for his senior season.

Anderson will be honored along with Ben Brust and Zach Bohannon on Wisconsin's senior night at the Badgers' home finale Wednesday, March 5th against Purdue.

In three seasons, Anderson played in 35 games scoring 20 points, getting 10 rebounds and six assists.

“My ultimate goal was to help this team out in any way that I could,” Anderson added. “No matter how small or how big of a role that would have been. I really feel like I fulfilled that part. I’m glad I was able to come here. It’s really a special place to be.”

Anderson, who's from Stanley, Wisconsin, will graduate in May with a degree in community and environmental sociology with a certificate in criminal justice.
