Sometimes not even celebrities can get a Hollywood ending when it comes to romance. Take Cher and Gregg Allman for example. When the two music stars got married on a whim in late July 1975, even the most pessimistic couldn't have seen Cher filing for divorce less than two weeks later on July 10, 1975. The only thing that keeps the one-time couple from making our list of the shortest celebrity marriages is the fact they reconciled and remained married for four years. Check out some celebrity couples who fell well short of even Cher and Allman, with their marriages failing to make it past one year.

Perhaps not surprisingly, the marriage quickly fell apart, with Barrymore filing for divorce on April 28, 1994.

Zsa Zsa Gabor and Felipe de Alba: Less than 24 hours
When you get married nine times in your life, there's a chance some of those marriages were brief. That's the case for Gabor, whose first seven marriages lasted an average of around four years each. But her eighth marriage, to attorney and character actor de Alba, was by far her shortest. The two wed on a ship on April 13, 1983, but the marriage proved to be invalid since the actress's prior marriage to Michael O'Hara had not been properly dissolved.
