Justin Bieber is in hot water for a second time this week, after a video surfaced of a 14-year-old Bieber using the N-word in a song and joking about joining the Ku Klux Klan. Take a look back at Bieber's long history of bad behavior.
October 2010: Police begin investigating Bieber after he is accused of assaulting a 12-year-old at a laser tag arena. He is later cleared of all charges.
May 2011: CSI star Marg Helgenberger hints at Bieber's bad behavior after the singer films a two-episode arc. "I shouldn't be saying this, but he was kind of a brat," Helgenberger says. "He was very nice to me, but he locked one of the producers in a closet, and he put his fist through a cake that was on the actors' table."
May 2012: Bieber is involved in a scuffle with a paparazzo while leaving a mall with then-girlfriend Selena Gomez. The photographer files a police report, saying Bieber kicked and punched him, but because there is not sufficient evidence, including any apparent sign of injury, no criminal charges are filed.
January and February 2013: Bieber moons fans on Instagram and shortly after, pictures surface of him and two friends surrounded by sizzurp and blunts. Sizzurp -- also known as purple drank, syrup and lean -- is a mix of codeine-based prescription cough syrup, soda and, often, Jolly Ranchers candy.
March 2013:Bieber is held back from attacking a photographer outside his London hotel after the man calls him names and threatens the singer. Bieber leapt out of the vehicle, screaming "I'll beat the f--- out of you."
March 2013: Bieber's pet capuchin monkey Mally is detained by German customs officials when the singer flies into Munich without the proper documents. When Bieber never returns for his formerly beloved pet, Mally is moved to a zoo near in northern Germany.
July 2013: A videotape surfaces of Bieber peeing in a restaurant mop bucket in New York from earlier in the year. As Bieber runs off, he sprays a photograph of Bill Clinton with a bottle of blue liquid and yells, "F--- Bill Clinton!" Bieber later apologizes to the former president. "@billcinton thanks for taking the time to talk Mr. President. Your words meant alot [sic]. #greatguy" he tweets.
November 2013: Bieber is detained in Australia while customs agents search him and a member of his entourage for drugs. He was stopped after using "inappropriate language" toward the agents, but is released with a warning. Bieber's friend later pays a fine after officials discover a vaporizer that had marijuana residue in it.
November 2013: Bieber is charged with vandalism in Brazil for spray-painting the wall of a building with the face of a monkey wearing hoop earrings and a nose ring — an image some called racist. The incident happens a week after the singer was escorted away by police while spray-painting a wall in Colombia.
January 2014: Bieber allegedly takes part in egging his neighbor's Calabasas home, causing thousands of dollars worth of damage. Police detain Bieber in his garage while they execute a felony search warrant looking for evidence. During the raid, Bieber's friend Lil Za is arrested for cocaine possession, which is found inside Bieber's home.
Jan. 23, 2014: Bieber is arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and drag racing in Miami Beach, Fla. Police said Bieber and rapper Khalil (who was also arrested) were drag racing a Lamborghini and Ferrari shortly after 4 a.m. at about 60 mph in a residential area where the speed limit is 30 mph. According to the police report, Bieber failed a field sobriety test.
Bieber was charged with drunken driving, resisting arrest and driving without a valid license.
Bieber was released from a Miami jail an hour after he made a brief appearance through a video link before a Miami judge, who set a "standard" $2,500 bond.
Jan. 29, 2014: Bieber is charged with assaulting a limousine driver in Toronto. The alleged incident happened after the limo driver picked up a group of six people outside a Toronto nightclub just before 3 a.m. on Dec. 30, according to a police statement.
February 2014: A private plane carrying Bieber, his father and an entourage of 10 friends is detained at Teterboro Airport in New Jersey after customs agents allegedly smell marijuana on board. No drugs were found on the jet, but it later came out that the passengers were allegedly smoking so much pot, the pilots were forced to wear oxygen masks. Bieber and his father were also reportedly "verbally abusive" the the flight attendant, causing her to hide out in the cockpit.
May 2014: Bieber is investigated by Los Angeles police for a possible attempted robbery after a woman claimed he tried to steal her phone for taking pictures of him at a miniature golf course. Charges have yet to be filed.
May 2014: Bieber was in hot water twice in the same week after a video surfaced of a 14-year-old Bieber singing his 2009 hit single "One Less Lonely Girl," but replacing the word girl with the N-word, as he jokes about killing African-Americans and joining the Ku Klux Klan. The offensive footage made its way online just days after another clip was unveiled in which Bieber uses the N-word as the punchline of a racist joke.
